I was expecting to learn something positive about PSU's plan from that, but instead it just confirmed that I don't want them to have anything to do with this natural resource. I guess the Dean either doesn't understand the public's reason for opposition, or he just has nothing to offer to change our minds. It's pretty simple: the public wants the land preserved, open to the public forever, and not messed with by Penn State or anyone. Right now this land is owned by us. We pay for it with our taxes. Penn State needs to keep their greedy hands off of it so that it can stay this way, and not turn out like another Circleville Farm that they sell to private owners for development a few decades later.

Hey: Monsanto and Penn State are shacking up

Monsanto will probably buy the Canyon for Penn State for a herbicide/pesticide test stream

Monsanto is expanding its "ROUNDUP" plant due to the greatly increased of notill and pesticides

EVERGREEN FARMS has a link to "ROUNDUP" on certain web pages
